Micromix

Micromix was designed to house bacterial functional genomic data, such as RNA-seq.
The flexible underlying infrastructure allows Micromix to be installed as a server or on a local machine.
We currently have two available instances that can be explored (see below)

S. Typhimurium

This pilot site focuses on Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium SL1344, housing different functional genomic datasets including RNA-seq, dual RNA-seq and TraDIS.

Theta-Base v2

This contains Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron data, accompanying the published study by Ryan et al., 2023

Github

In this repository, you will find the source code to prepare your own instance of Micromix.
There is also comprehensive documentation to modify the site contents, adding different bacteria, plugins, functional annotations and other features.
